Starman Calendar Poster
Personal project. I wanted to design a calendar poster for my apartment. I was inspired by David Bowie's song ''Starman''. The song features exciting lyrics and space themes, that I incorporated into my poster design. Visually I was inspired by retro space aesthetics (such as found in the 2001 A Space Odyssey and the Alien movies) and old video games.
I featured little easter eggs in my poster design, such as the song lyrics, stars from the NASA logo, a Spotify code for the Starman song, and the song's visualized audio BPM track.

Purple Zone Lyrics Poster
Personal project. I designed a minimalistic poster featuring lyrics from the song ''Purple Zone'' by Soft Cell & Pet Shop Boys.
I wanted to capture the melancholic and surrealistic vibe of the song in my design. In the song, the protagonist feels trapped and scared, pretending not to feel anything, longing to escape their purple zone and find something more meaningful. The lyrics suggest they seek beauty and joy beyond their current existence.

I designed this poster during my student exchange in Dublin, as a part of the collaboration between our class and a design agency called ''Language''. We were given randomly assigned song lyrics, and our task was to design a risograph poster about the song that features the given lyrics and the artist's name. My assigned song was Talking Heads - The Big Country.
The song is a satirical commentary about snobbish city people. The lyrics ponder the differences between people who live in the city and people who live in the country. The person in the song is sitting on a plane and sees the different views from a plane window.
My poster design features hand-lettered lyrics from the song and visuals relating to the city and countryside.

Rose - Botanical Poster
Personal project. I read a book about the meanings and symbolism of different plants. I was intrigued by the concept of the book and wanted to use it as inspiration for a poster. I chose roses as the topic for my poster, and did research about the meanings and symbolism associated with roses.
In my design, I wanted to mimic the old school style and aesthetics of old botanical books.

Disco - Blank Poster Challenge
Personal project. I created this poster as a part of the Blank Poster online prompt challenge. The theme/word for this poster was ''DISCO''.

Moon landing letterpress poster
A collaboration project I did with Ziva Mesko while studying abroad at the NCAD in Dublin. Our task was to design a moon-themed poster with a quote and print it by using letterpress and linocut techniques. This poster was also part of a 2019 annual letterpress poster exhibition in Dublin.
In our poster, we played around with the theme of moon landing conspiracy theories.
